This is the finished product - my Lego Stop Motion Animation based around the brief of Darwin's Theory of Evolution. There are a few mistakes in the video but overall I think it's not bad for a first attempt.

Backgrounds
These are the backgrounds I am using for my stop motion animation.
This is picture of an alleyway in Marseille, France, serving as the background for the matrix-style fight
sequence of the animation.
This is an image of Monument Valley in Arizona, USA, which is the background for the western-style mexican-stand off sequence of the animation.

Stop Motion Animation
A project involving a stop motion animation is currently underway. I plan to use Lego as it is probably the easiest thing to use if you don't have the ability to create believable objects from plasticine. I have created a quick animatic storyboard using a program called LEGO Digital Designer and Windows Movie Maker, which will help me storyboard the sequence. It is basically a gunfighter sequence but with Matrix-style aspects (all in Lego).
